Senior Linux System Administrator
Join a highly skilled technical team working with some of Sweden’s most critical and sensitive Linux environments. This role offers the opportunity to maintain, secure, and develop large-scale infrastructures—where each server supports national resilience and strategic operations. You will work hands‑on with thousands of systems across complex networks and contribute to elevating defence capabilities through secure, stable Linux systems.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Linux servers (primarily Red Hat and other enterprise distributions)
- Perform scripting and automation to streamline system administration and deployments
- Manage network configurations, firewalls, and security hardening across infrastructure
- Drive information security and preparatory measures aligned with security protection regulations
- Ideally contribute within domains such as Kubernetes, Ansible, or automation frameworks
Profile & Qualifications
- At least 9+ years of professional experience in Linux system administration with enterprise-grade environments
- Strong knowledge of multiple Linux distributions (Red Hat preferred)
- Experienced in server maintenance, scripting, and network security
- Skilled in information and network security procedures
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Must meet Swedish security clearance requirements (may require Swedish citizenship or equivalent)
